Lumera Studio is a wedding photography studio based in Kondavil, Jaffna. We photograph weddings across the Jaffna peninsula and the wider Northern Province, and travel further for select bookings.
Our approach blends photojournalistic truth with cinematic elegance. Much of the day is documented candidly - the glance between parents, the laughter during the rituals, the quiet pause before the ceremony - while portraits of the couple and family are directed gently so they look relaxed and natural.
Many of our couples live in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany and Switzerland and return to Jaffna for their ceremony. We are used to planning around travel schedules and family timelines, and we keep communication simple from the first message onwards.

Does Lumera Studio photograph weddings outside Jaffna town?
Yes. We are based in Kondavil and regularly cover weddings across the Jaffna peninsula and the Northern Province. Travel for select bookings further afield is also available - just mention your venue when you enquire.
